feeling as awake as possible in the morning

Something that had bothered me and it still does is getting up early in the morning (for school maybe). The question is how to get up and feeling as awake as possible.
I for example put a really irritating music as my alarm (I love that song but for the morning it's a little bit heavy for my ears).
The second thing is to take a shower. It really does help a lot because after that you feel fresh.
Have breakfast! (I eat cereals, fruit, nutella, ..) anything that will give you energy till the first break in school.
And last but not least, don't go sleep to late like I sometimes do, that won't help you the next morning..
